Sponsorship Package 1
Schools 'Meet The Industry'
CMA events and activities organised at a school of your choice, to promote your business. Interested pupils will then visit your premises with some participating in work experiences and mock interviews. You will gain publicity for a year in a CMA newsletter.
- Your business attends a Cornish Schools ‘Meet the Industry’ event to enable you to promote your business to school students (x10-15) looking to find out about career opportunities, jobs and Apprenticeships and looking for a site visit and work experience placement, with school curriculum subject leads (teachers) and their Senior Leadership Team (x6-8), who are looking to gain more industry knowledge and know about progression opportunities for their students
- Your business providing a site visit for those students interested in exploring further following the ‘Meet the Industry’ event (numbers of students dependent on the business size and school cohort – normally x10-30 students)
- Your business supporting with a mock interview for all students (x15-20 students) to help them apply for a work placement at your business (1-2 placements available)
- Your business will appear in x4 quarterly CMA newsletters promoting your business and recruitment
- CMA will add your business banner to our CMA website to further promote your company
- You will receive regular social media promotion of your business and your recruitment plans
Sponsorship Package 2
'Future Workforce - Prepare to Earn'
In partnership with a school of your choice, you will jointly fund 12 young people to achieve a vocational qualification as a lead into gaining apprenticeships, CMA will then support you to provide site visits and work experience placements to the young people of your choice and participate in a pre-planned programme of vocational experiences to enable you to assess candidates for jobs and Apprenticeships.
- Your business and your chosen schools will jointly contribute to the cost of CMA delivering the Level 1 or Level 2 Award in Vocational Studies (a Pre-Apprenticeship Programme delivered over 13-days to students aged 14+)
- The school would contribute financially towards the delivery of the programme that is delivered to x12 students working towards an Apprenticeship
- Your business would add value by providing inspirational talks to the young people, to class size cohorts and to whole year group assemblies
- We will support you to offer site visits to school pupils
- Where appropriate, we will also support you to offer a small number of work experience placements using a package of support created by Cornwall Marine Academy and business ambassadors which will help young people become more motivated and more employable from gaining exposure to the Marine industry before entering employment through entry level jobs and/ or Apprenticeships
- The benefit to your business is that you will be supporting and giving work experience and training to as part of this ‘try before you buy’ service. You will be better informed and already have detailed knowledge of the young people you wish to consider for joining your company
CMA has established an excellent track record with all 31 secondary schools across Cornwall, since CMA was created by CMN in 2008.
