This service will cover:

This package provides support for young people to develop skills and experiences with local employers. This is a package of activities for cohorts of up to 25 young people. This can be delivered for half-day per week, one-day per week or over 5 full-days. This would be suitable for learners during a students Work Experience week who are not on placement or for a group of disengaged school students to help build their confidence and skills as they prepare for work.
CMA will work with your Careers Lead to develop a bespoke activity to support careers and working towards the Gatsby Benchmarks in your school. CMA can focus activities towards a sector or a range of sectors such as Marine, STEM and Engineering. We always focus on ensuring that each activity is linked with local employers looking to provide relevant and current job market information.
Below are a selection of activities we offer, but we can tailor all of our activities to meet the needs of the individuals: - CV and Application Writing Workshops
- Interview Skills
- Job Market information and Job Search Activity
- Vocational Experience Themed Days
For young people aged 14 - 18

Basic Course Content:
This course will cover:
- Have you worked in a customer service role before?
- Most jobs require you to speak to a customer either face to face or on the phone
- Learn about how to deal with customer complaints, what qualities you should have and join in the open discussion of “Is the customer always right?”

- Learn about handbooks, working hours, work trials, negotiation and legal working hours
- Learn to inform yourself to protect yourself
