About Prepare to Earn
Allowing you to talk to employers about jobs/ opportunities including work experience and taster days
This could come in areas such as Boat Building and Carpentry, Marine Engineering, Marine Biology, Conservation, Sustainability or Watersports. You’ll be provided with support every step of the way and learn skills in planning and carrying out research, an introduction to Sustainability, Employability (CV’s, job search applications, interviews), organisational skills and resilience. This will allow you to achieve a L1 or L2 accredited qualification.
Time Management Skills - L1 Unit
- Understand the importance of good time management
- Know ways to promote good time management
- Be able to plan your own use of time effectively
Introduction to Building and Construction - L1 Unit
- Recognise working patterns and structures within the building and construction industry
- Be able to identify various career opportunities in the building and construction industry
