The ever mounting plastic problem is threatening the health and diversity of our Marine ecosystems. That’s why I decided to step outside my comfort zone and create a business that can make a difference. One Blue Eye is more than just a company. It’s a movement. What would you consider is the best part about your job?

I love meeting new people with different backgrounds, skills and ideas that I can collaborate with to grow as both a person and as a business.

What's your advice for young people?

Do what you LOVE! If you don’t think there is a way to do that then look harder. Doing something that you are passionate about and love doing means you will never have to work a day in your life because it won’t feel like work.

What first inspired you to pursue a career in the Marine industry?

A lifelong surfer and Cornishman means that it’s very hard to ignore the issues our oceans are experiencing. I was getting overwhelmed by the sheer amount of plastic washing up on our shores so I wanted to do something that benefits both our shorelines and our mental health. There is hope and it can be found all around us. Together we can make life better.
